		<description>Hi,

This is Jan Spencer in Eugene.

I am in the early part of planning a speaking tour in California, called Global Trends - Local Choices. &quot;Perspectives, models and tools for reinventing the present and future.&quot;

The tour is intended to broaden the discussion about choices we can make given the trends of our time. Its not about peak oil and climate change. It is about making creative use of existing opportunities, some within the mainstream, in positive ways they were not designed for.

Its also to cross fertilize. I would like to see a show and tell in both directions. Finding out what others are doing for a more peaceful and healthy world is a primary goal of the tour. Learning what others are doing will make the presentation even better. If the tour expands to the east coast, the presentation can show some of the best examples of what the west coast has to offer within the realm of creating a new culture and permaculture.

There is no charge. I am open to donations, and will have a DVD for sale called Global Trends - Local Choices for sale. The presentation is live.

For more info, please contact me. Timing? looking like later April.

Feel free to pass this e mail along to others. From Santa Rosa, I would be going north along the coast and would love to connect with others in that direction.

If you have perma pals elsewhere in California who would be interested in this, please pass this along to them.
